Avenue Park offers quality bed and breakfast in Torquay, providing modern comfortable facilities with friendly service and good food, close to the Riviera Centre, and convenient for the beach, harbour, town centre and train station.

From Newton Abbot on the A308:
- Follow signs for Torquay, then for the sea front and Riviera Conference Centre.
- Taking the right fork at Torre station/Halfords sign into Avenue Road.
- Follow the road through the set of lights and we are just before the next traffic lights on the left, by the red post box, opposite the park.

Avenue Park is within 5 minute level walk from the train station with regular trains direct to Torquay station.

Coach travel is also an option with the coach and bus station in central Torquay.

Special occasions can also be catered for at this charming B&B.

Payment Information:
Where payment of the balance is made by credit card, a surcharge of 2% will be added to the your bill by Avenue Park. There is no surcharge for payment made by debit card. Please note that payment of any balance is due on arrival (not on check-out).

No reduction is made by Avenue Park for temporary absence, meals not taken, or for departure earlier than booked.

Deposit Information:
The cost of the first night (per room) will be charged to your credit card by Avenue Park at the time of booking. This is a non-refundable deposit. For longer stays, 20% of the cost of the total stay will be taken as a non-refundable deposit. Deposits are subject to the 2% credit card surcharge outlined above.

Where the booking is made for 2 or more rooms under the same booking reference, the deposit remains non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or amendment made to 1 or more of the rooms (i.e. the full amount of the initial deposit cannot be used towards the amended total cost of the new reservation).

Check-In:
Please note that there is no night porter facility at Avenue Park. The latest evening check-in time is 21:00. Access cannot be gained after this time. The guest house requires your estimated arrival time and mobile telephone number at the time of booking.

Group Bookings:
Avenue Park does not accept group bookings (including stag or hen parties).

Smoking/Damage Charges:
Avenue Park is a totally non-smoking guest house. The person making the booking will be liable for the cost of any damage repair or additional cleaning that is required due to a client's actions. In the event of this, the cost will be charged to the credit or debit card provided. In addition, a surcharge of GBP 50 will be payable towards the cost of additional cleaning required to bring the room back to the standard expected by subsequent guests. This will be charged to the credit or debit card provided.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.

Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free public parking is possible at a location nearby.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.


The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
