Built about 300 years ago as a private residence originally called Woodfield House, this charming hotel offers an unrivalled view of Chepstow Castle, located just across the road.

Castle View Hotel provides warm and friendly accommodation in a cosy little hotel situated on the outskirts of the town of Chepstow, on the English/Welsh border by the banks of the River Severn. The historic nature of the hotel creates a charming atmosphere and it is even possible that the stones used in the building may have come from Chepstow castle, which by that time had fallen into disuse.

The aim of the hotel is to offer you comfortable accommodation, good food and personal attention in surroundings which retain the charm of the 18th century and boast some outstanding views of the surrounding area.
