The Caledonian Canal with its 5 lock staircase is a central part of Fort Augustus, where guests can watch the leisure boats and ships travel through from the canal into Loch Ness itself.

We offer our guests a warm, friendly family welcome. We have double and family en suite rooms, and twin rooms with separate shower room. All of our rooms have mountain views. Guests have the use of the conservatory to admire the Great Glen mountain range beyond. Relax in front of the log fire in the guest TV lounge, where you can help yourselves to tea and coffee, or if you are feeling more energetic, have a game of pool, table tennis or chess in our games room with beamed ceiling and a wood burning stove.
