Under a minute’s walk from the famous “Grand Place” where all the action is, very quietly situated between a patio with 16th century colonnade and a green garden with view on an 18th century façade, this romantic and charming hotel offers 36 rooms, including 3 Junior suites and 1 Rubens Suite (80M2)

In summer you may enjoy the delicious hot and cold breakfast-buffet on the patio, in the shadow of our own Pagaddertower (the oldest in town)

Gent (E17): Follow direction Breda => immediately after “Kennedytunnel” take exit 5A Centrum
Eindhoven/Hasselt (E34/E313): Follow direction Gent => take exit 5A
Brussels (E19): Follow direction Gent => take exit 5A
Brussel/Boom (A12): Follow direction Gent => take exit 5A

End of exit (Palace of Justice with flags on rooftop on your left-hand side) turn left
Follow to the end => turn right (Cockerillkaai)
After the 4th traffic light (after ‘t Steen [little castle] and the parking ‘Grote Markt’
Take 2nd street to the right – Zakstraat
Turn right into the Hofstraat
Until the market square (Grote Markt) where you have to turn left immediately
Turn immediately left into the Melkmarkt/Koepoortstraat
Turn immediately left again into the Oude Beurs, where you will find the hotel after 60m on your right-hand side

In less than a minute walk of the famous big market and it's intense activities, on a quiet spot with completely renovated rooms and Suites, of which some with a private terrace, you will find Hotel Rubens-Grote Markt.
Ideally situated for both leisure and business guests, this four star boutique hotel offers historical views from almost every room. (Cathedral, St Paulus, Patio, Pagaddertower, Garden, Wolsackren)
The rooms are fully equipped, light and spacious, individually decorated in warm colors (suites and garden rooms with silk curtains) and beautiful spacious bathrooms with separate toilet.
A warm welcome, and an exquisite breakfast buffet included (in summertime served on the patio). Two closed parkings.
