Poetas, Estrecho, Tanger, Republica, Utopia, Art Decó, Jazz, Tango, Cabaret, Paris, Casas Viejas, Ilustración, Paquebot, Estrellas, Vanguardias and Zeppelin are the names and the themes that characterize every room, making the Utopia Hotel one of the most special and best quality accommodations in Spain. Four artists and various furniture designers from different countries were hired to create unique rooms and stylishly decorate every part of Utopia with spectacular fresco's and collages on the walls and ceilings, and with a selection of objects from the 30's. All this combined with the natural surroundings and the silent and cultural atmosphere turn a night at Utopia into a marvellous dream.

La Fonda, Utopia's restaurant, reminds of a cabaret or a bohemian 30's café in Paris. "La Fonda" theater-café is a surprising place. It is a mix of sensations to be enjoyed with all our 5 senses. Our Chef Miguel Pérez Barreiro is inspired by the best traditional and modern recipes of the world. A selection of the best products from Galicia to Cádiz, the best Galician seafood, fish from the "Bahía de Cádiz" and so on are served in "La Fonda", offering the choice to order à la carte or to opt for the special menu, different every night.
Dinner is a unique experience in La Fonda, with the added value of jazz sounds, melancholic tango or theather shows. A place where culture, leisure and gastronomy come together.

Utopia Hotel is located in the centre of the southern half of the province of Cadiz, and also part of the "La Janda" region. A strategic enclave located in the middle of nature but at less than half an hour from the best beach of Cadiz.
From the hill of the "Grullas", next to the small lake of the "Janda", you can contemplate the valley of the Barbate River and the mountain range of the "Arcornocales". In this area you will find many characteristic tree species, like the cork cad, and wild animals like eagles, boars, and deer.
In the "Tajo de las Figuras" you can see Prehistoric cave paintings and archaeological discoveries. Tajo de las Figuras is the most important cave group in the south of Spain because of the number, the quality and the variety of the cave paintings.

A- Seville airport (146 km) or Jerez de la Frontera airport (53 km)

Follow directions for "Cadiz" (road A4). From "Jerez de la Frontera" follow directions for "Los Barrios" (road A-381). Take the exit "Medina Sidonia" (road A-393). Follow direction "Vejer de la Frontera" and then follow direction "Benalup-Casas Viejas".

B- Malaga airport (176 km)

Follow directions for "Algeciras" (road A7). At the traffic light of Guadacorte, continue in the direction of Jerez de la Frontera about 30 km and then follow directions for Benalup-Casas Viejas.

This new year's eve, 2007, we will recreate the ocean liner RMS Queen Mary's (fastest ocean liner of its time) transatlantic journey from Cadiz to Buenos Aires and the gala dinner served back in 1935:

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
