Enjoy the hospitality and intimacy of one of our contemporary lodges set in landscaped gardens, or stay in the main hotel in our club rooms which provide all the mod cons and conveniences for our business guests.
The Court provides a unique offering with the convenience of the Oaklands Hotel amenities and staff, alongside the privacy of your own self contained lodge.
Each lodge is individually named after an area of the Norfolk Broads. They have modern and contemporary decor and consist of a spacious lounge area, relaxing bedroom, well-designed bathroom and private sun balcony.
Additional features include hi-tech facilities such as plasma television screens, DVD players and wireless internet, alongside under floor heating and the finest products and accessories
One lodge is fully adapted for disabled access to ensure everyone can enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The Oaklands Court - Residence - Food & beverage

The Oaklands Hotel has built up a strong reputation for its first class restaurant which is open to both guests and non-residents.
The restaurant offers a choice between our sumptuous A La’ Carte menu or the ever popular Carvery. We work hard to provide a diverse selection of wines chosen from the best in the world, including new world delights and old world favourites.
The ambiance is relaxed and informal and we do not operate a dress code but please respect fellow diners whilst in the restaurant. The restaurant is air-conditioned and we operate a non-smoking policy, however you can of course enjoy a cigarette or cigar in the bar adjacent to the restaurant.
Over the years we have built up a large local following for the restaurant and therefore it is advisable to make a reservation particularly at the weekend, with Sunday lunches being very popular.

Norwich is a wonderful city which provides the heart of Norfolk, with a population of over 123,000. The city offers a mixture of history, shopping, entertainment and the all important Norwich City Football Club all rolled into one ever expanding city.
Norwich is perfect for those looking to delve into the past of the city as it is home to some of the most popular historical attractions in the East of England. Norwich Cathedral is well worth a visit, this Norman building has been standing for over 900 years and is a magnificent sight which towers over the city, dominating the skyline. Norwich Castle has been standing since the 12th century and its recently refurbished museum and art gallery holds many national treasures and collections. Another area of interest is the Forum which is where the tourist information, bbc, and library are located.
Within the Forum you can experience ‘Origins’ a state of the art visitor attraction taking you on a journey of exploration over the past two thousand years.
Norwich is just simply a shopper’s paradise, with a blend of large shopping centres to market stalls. The city’s most recent development is the Chapelfield shopping centre which was finished in September 2005. This fabulous shopping centre is open seven days a week and has over 80 shops, 40 of which are completely new to Norwich including the only House of Fraser in the region. The city also houses the Castle Mall shopping centre which has many big store names and a recently refurbished food court. In contrast to its shopping centres and modern precedents, the city has the added attraction of a six day open air market as well as hundreds of speciality shops in a maze of cobble stoned lanes and alleys.
Norwich provides an array of entertainment and nightlife attractions to ensure you have a great night out. Within the city you will find a variation of theatres including the Theatre Royal which often features shows direct from London’s West End, a cluster of cinemas, and a nearby ten bin bowling alley. Norwich also offers a mixture of traditional Norfolk pubs and trendy bars, an array of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, and a choice of different nightclubs.

Oaklands Court is in an ideal location on the east side of the city just a 10 minute drive from the centre.

If travelling by car there is decent access to most main road links in and around the city with a free car park to all of our guests on site.
Oaklands Court is located off the A47 bypass at the turning for Thorpe St Andrew.

Oaklands Court is a mere five minute taxi ride from the nearby train station, it is on a major bus
route, and is easily accessed from the airport.

The Oaklands Court - Residence - Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
