3-star graded by Visit Wales, The Tal-y-Cafn offers comfortable accommodation, a cosy snug, function room, bar and a restaurant. A lovely garden and children's play area contains plenty of seating for the summer visitor. The hotel is continuously being upgraded and the proprietors, Richard and Anna, offer personal attention and quality service.
Children are made very welcome in the pub/restaurants. Colouring and games are available with large play area outside.
Rooms are all en suite and offer the facilities listed in "room descriptions" as well as courtesy trays and books.
An extra bed is only available in the Family Room. Family and double rooms have space for a cot.

Bodnant Garden (2 km / 1.3 miles) - the upper part of this renowned garden consists of the Terrace Gardens as well as informal lawns shaded by trees. The lower portion is formed by the River Hiraethlyn valley, a tributary of the Conwy, that contains a wild garden.
Conwy Castle (10.5 km / 6.5 miles) - ominously positioned atop the Conwy Estuary, this 13th century castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture.
By car from the A55:
- Exit the A55 North Wales expressway at junction 19.
- Continue onto the A470, signed for Betws-y-Coed.
- Go through Glan Conwy and continue for a further 4 miles until you reach Tal-y-Cafn.
- The hotel is located on the right.
